Our consultant run daily clinics that are flexible to the needs of our patients. During your consultation, our consultant will take a detailed history and examination and formulate a plan aimed at diagnosis and management of your condition.
2. Endoscopy procedures
An endoscopic procedure is a nonsurgical procedure used to examine a person’s digestive tract. The procedure will be performed in the Endoscopy suite by our consultants as a day case admission in the Bon Secours Hospital Cork. Additional tests including X-rays, scans and blood test may be performed on the day if required. The procedures performed include:
3. Fibroscan
A FibroScan test is a quick, painless, non-invasive examination of your liver. The test measures scar tissue and the amount of fat in your liver and should always be carried out in the setting of unexplained raised liver blood tests. We accept direct patient bookings from patients via phone fax or e-mail and the scan is performed at the Lee Clinic.
4. Inpatient care
Occasionally, a patient may require admission for detailed urgent investigation and treatment. On such occasion we will be able to book an elective bed in the Bon Secours Hospital.
